I am proud through this newsletter to provide a glimpse of the energy, innovation, compassion, caring and quality of care that the staff of Mission Neighborhood Health Center bring to their work every day. We are a diverse, multi-generational community united in our belief that through our passion for service and our strong relationships with each other and with our patients we can contribute to a healing and healthy society.

 

In the stories that follow, you will see our young staff engaged in creating youth leadership programs to address health equity, our staff at our homeless resource center working long hours overnight to provide emergency shelter against the cold, our wellness and prevention staff applying evidence-based programs to prevent diabetes and HIV and the Excelsior clinic staff expanding hours to better meet the need of this neighborhood. We have much to be grateful for and much to be proud of.
